Odense University Hospital
The Department for Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacology at Odense University Hospital (OUH) is involved in various aspects of the development and use of biochemical assays for clinical research and diagnostic purposes including drug metabolism. Furthermore, the proteomics laboratory at OUHs is a part of the Centre for Clinical Proteomics (CCP) which is a strategic collaboration between OUH and the Protein Research Group, Department for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). Research topics and interests of the proteomics laboratory include the molecular characterization of biological systems including the development disease biomarkers and drug mode of action studies.
Role in project
OUH contributes to the enhanced compound characterisation performed in WP7, especially in performing CYP-assays in the frame of ADME studies. Additionally, OUH contributes with expertise in the development and use of proteomics methods for the characterization of novel mechanisms for the fungel production of anticancerous metabolites.
